Offering your skills and talents

God has given each Christian not just a unique set of gifts but unique circumstances in which to use them. In his teaching on Christian service the apostle Paul says in Ephesians 4:7 that “to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.” No Christian lacks gifts intended by God for service in his kingdom. And because God loves to match gifts to opportunities it is certain that you are the best person in the world to reach the people around you with the love of Christ.

God’s intention is that his people put the skills and talents he has given to use for the common good of society and for the gospel ministry of the church. Redeemer Lutheran Church carries out Christ’s calling by helping to match gifts to opportunities as God intends.

Every member of the congregation is asked to offer an inventory of their God-given skills and talents. Armed with this information, our congregation can most effectively match gifts to opportunities.

If you’re ready to submit your inventory then you can get started with a click or tap on the button in the gold box on this page. Or take time to learn more about the biblical vision for Christian service by clicking the button below.

Giving financial support

There are two ways to give financial support to the ministry of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

First, every Sunday we give worshipers the opportunity to make a gift during the public gathering of an offering. The members of Redeemer Lutheran Church have joined together to do the Lord’s work in this community. Guests and visitors are not expected to make an offering to support our ministry.

Second, we provide an online giving portal through our website and a mobile app to give friends and members of Redeemer Lutheran Church an opportunity to be the regular, cheerful givers God has called them to be.
