Undivided Attention Promotional Graphic

What has your attention has your heart, which is why there may be no better way to make a difference in your life than to recalibrate your attention. Join us at Redeemer to find hope and healing from what Jesus said is worth our undivided attention.

This week we focus on the real prize. Many tend to think that Christians are so heavenly minded that they’re of no earthly good. And while there’s no doubt some Christians have given that impression, it’s only because they lost focus on what matters most. Any consideration of what makes life worth living now needs to consider the heavenly treasure Jesus offers. Only when we set aside the misplaced attention we call worry will it be possible to live a life full of hope and healing.

Everything we chase to ease our anxiety requires our performance to have them. The latest book that promises the secret to success, the step up the corporate ladder that brings higher pay, the GPA that gets us into the great college, the circle of friends that proves we’re someone, the achievement that means we matter, the opinion that means we’re smart — none of those things are generous, none of those things are gracious, none of those things are a Father who gives.
